Hot Berry Sundaes
The blueberries and raspberries in this warm ice-cream topping supply good health-giving phytochemicals you won't find in any chocolate sauce! The berry topping is also delicious over slices of plain cake.
  • 1/3 cup raspberry all-fruit spread
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups fresh or unsweetened frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh or unsweetened frozen raspberries
  • 1 pint low-fat frozen raspberry or vanilla yogurt

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

2. In medium bowl, stir together fruit spread, maple syrup, and lemon juice. Add berries and mix gently. Scrape mixture into 9-inch pie plate.

3. Bake berries 15 minutes, or until hot and bubbly (frozen berries will take a few minutes longer). Scoop frozen yogurt into dessert dishes and top with hot berry mixture.
