Riboflavin to Prevent Migraines (Belgium)
The Belgian Migraine Society reports that frequent migraine sufferers who took 400 mg of riboflavin (vitamin B2) once a day had fewer attacks--although when a headache developed, the pain was just as intense. It took a full three months for the riboflavin to take effect. (Neurology, 9/98)
