Creatine for Muscle Strength (Canada)
A placebo-controlled pilot study was done at McMaster University in Ontario of 81 patients. Those patients had either muscular dystrophy or other serious muscle impairments. Researchers found that the amino acid creatine (10 grams daily for five days), popular with athletes and body builders, increased ankle, hand grip, and knee strength. Larger studies are called for.
