Health Nuts
Long considered the bane of a dieter's life, nuts are turning out to be good for your health. Most nuts are a rich source of the antioxidant vitamin E, as well as a host of minerals. And although nuts are loaded with fat, the fat is primarily unsaturated, including heart-healthy alpha-linolenic acid (a precursor to omega-3 fatty acids). Of course nuts still need to be eaten in moderation, because although the fat they contain is good for you, they are also quite high in calories.
