If I put milk in my tea, does that affect tea's health benefits?

Researchers generally agree that tea should be drunk black (i.e. without milk) so that the bioavailability of the flavonoids in tea will be at their maximum. However, there is at least one study that showed that adding milk to black tea didn't affect the bioavailability of catechins, a type of flavonoid found in tea. There have been a few studies looking at this issue.
